Buggy laughed loudly in the yard and looked at us like we were nothing. "You think you can get away? Fire the Buggy Ball cannon and crush them."
Buggy's men lit the fuse of the giant cannon, and the shell flew straight at Luffy's cage and the rest of us.
"This is bad. That bomb can destroy a whole building," Nami shouted.
Zoro stepped forward fast. He picked up the huge cannonball, turned the cannon around toward Buggy's side, and told them to light it. The shell went back and blew up on Buggy's side. Everyone there panicked.
Boom.
Buggy's building fell down and smoke went everywhere. Zoro carried the iron cage with Luffy inside and ran ahead of everyone to the edge of town. But lifting the cannon had opened his old wound, and it was bleeding a lot.
We stopped to rest, and there we met Chouchou, a small white Spitz dog standing guard in front of a pet food shop.
Then Mohji, the animal trainer from Buggy's group, came looking for us. He was riding a giant lion named Richie. They came to the front of the pet food shop, and he burned the shop down right in front of Chouchou.
Luffy stood looking at the fire and said nothing. Then he walked straight to them and knocked out Mohji and the lion with one punch. After that he picked up the last box of dog food and gave it back to Chouchou.
"Here. You did really well," Luffy said to the little dog with a big smile.
Chouchou looked at the food box, held it in his mouth, said "Woof" to thank Luffy, and walked away with pride.
"Okay," Luffy said, turning back toward Buggy's place, angry. "Let's go deal with that crazy guy."
We walked back to the yard. When Buggy saw us come back, he laughed. "Did you come back to die?"
Zoro drew his sword to fight Cabaji, a swordsman who rides a unicycle. Kolas walked forward with an annoying smile and aimed at Buggy's men and at Buggy himself.
"Come on, let me show you my troublemaker moves," Kolas said. He held up two fingers and aimed at the crotches of Buggy's men.
Pu pu pu pu pu.
"Owwww."
The tiny flour lasers hit the balls and the butts of Buggy's men right on target. The pirates turned green in the face, screamed in high voices, held their balls, and cried on the ground, every one of them.
"You little brat. Is this how you fight? That's low," Buggy said, very angry. He sent his hands flying at Kolas, each one holding a knife.
Kolas dodged in an annoying way and shot lasers back at him again and again.
Pu pu pu pu pu.
"Ow. It hurts. This crazy guy shot my butt," Buggy said. He got poked right in the butt, and his flying hands lost control and went everywhere. He jumped around and screamed.
But while Kolas was having fun and shooting lasers all over the yard, one small beam flew off and hit Zoro right in the butt. Zoro was standing in a cool pose, about to swing his sword.
Poke.
"Owwww," Zoro jumped up in the air, almost dropped his sword, turned green, and grabbed his own butt.
Zoro turned around fast and stared at Kolas with hate, veins showing all over his face. "What are you shooting at, Kolas? Why did you shoot my butt?"
Kolas laughed a little and moved his eyebrows. "Oh, sorry. You walked your butt into my shooting range yourself, mosshead."
"What did you say? You want me to cut you in two?" Zoro pointed his sword at Kolas's face, like he was going to attack Kolas instead of Buggy.
The two of them stood there arguing with red faces, and Zoro was holding his butt while he argued. Luffy stood behind them with his hands on his hips, smiling and watching like it was fun.
"Haha, you two are really close," Luffy said the way he always does.
"Close, my ass," Kolas said. "Close to him? No way," Zoro said. They both turned and yelled at the same time.
"Now, Luffy," Kolas shouted.
"Stretch," Luffy said, pulling his arm back as far as he could. "Rubber Bazooka."
Boom.
Luffy's fist hit Buggy right in the face while Buggy was holding his hurt butt. The hit sent Buggy flying far away, out past the island.
After the Buggy fight ended, the four of us stood in a circle on the beach.
Luffy smiled big. "Nami, be the navigator for our crew."
Nami crossed her arms, looked at us from head to toe, and turned her face away. "No way. How many times do I have to say it, I hate pirates. You guys are just thieves like them."
Kolas saw his chance. He stepped closer, struck a cool pose, and smiled sweetly to talk her into it.
"Come on, listen first, beautiful," Kolas said, and winked once. "Our group is not the kind of pirates you think, Nami. We are more like adventurers, chasing each person's dream. You understand, beautiful?"
Nami made a bad face and was ready to curse at him. But Zoro, standing next to them and still holding his butt, cut in with a flat face.
"This woman? She only looks nice. When she gets angry, her face looks just like an ogre."
A vein popped out on Nami's forehead right away. She turned to Zoro fast, pulled back her fist, and hit him on the head so hard that a big bump came up.
"Who did you just say looks like an ogre, mosshead?" Nami yelled in his face, her face red all the way to her ears.
"Ow. This woman is so strong," Zoro said, rubbing his head with a sour face.
Kolas saw it was going badly and quickly put out his hands to stop the fight. "Hey, calm down, beautiful. This moss has a bad mouth. Anyway, if you travel with us, you will get lots of money and treasure for sure. And you'll have handsome Kolas to take good care of you."
Nami sighed for a long time, stood thinking for a moment, and then shrugged. "Fine. I'll travel with you for now, only for the map and the money. It has nothing to do with your fake cool talk."
"Yippee. We got a navigator," Luffy said, jumping around happily.
The small boat with all four of us, Luffy, Kolas, Zoro and Nami, raised its sail and left Orange Town. We headed out to the wide sea to look for a new ship and the next friend for the trip.
